Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment are recruiting a Workshop Technician in Worcester to refurbish, modify and test specialist industrial equipment. You'll work in a modern workshop with full training and long‑term career development.

The role is Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (39 hours). We are looking for someone with basic mechanical or engineering experience, skills in fitting, pipework, fabrication, welding and soldering, plus a practical problem‑solver who works well in a team.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or engineering experience.
• Experience with fitting, pipework, fabrication, welding, soldering or similar.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Refurbishment, modification and testing of specialist engineering equipment
• Mechanical assembly, pipework, fittings and pressure testing
• Inspect, fault find and complete equipment failure reports
• Assist with workshop maintenance and continuous improvement projects
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Monday‑Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (39 hours)
