Job summary

Rise Technical in Worcester is seeking a Workshop Technician to refurbish, modify and test specialist industrial equipment in a modern workshop. Full training will be provided to broaden engineering skills and build a long-term career.

The role offers a clear progression path and a generous package including a pension and holiday benefits. Based in Worcester, the role is on-site, with a typical 39-hour week, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical or engineering experience.
• Experience with fitting, pipework, fabrication, welding or soldering.
• Basic electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Refurbishment, modification and testing of specialist equipment.
• Mechanical assembly, pipework, fittings and pressure testing.
• Inspect, fault find and complete equipment failure reports.
• Assist with workshop maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Work Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (39 hours).
