Job summary

Intelect UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead a small panel manufacturing team. You will ensure projects stay on track, mentor junior staff, and interpret electrical drawings to maintain high quality in a busy workshop.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a driving licence is advantageous though not essential.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead a small panel manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in a similar leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are kept on track and the workshop remains efficient.
• Ability to understand and interpret electrical / panel schematic drawings and act as a mentor to junior staff.
• Ability to manage own and time and time of others.
• Ensure quality is kept to a high standard within the workshop.
• Report to the Panel Department Manager with daily updates of project progress.

We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:

• Previous hands-on experience as a panel wireperson, with a good understanding of how to interpret electrical / panel schematic drawings.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader position.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, team members and priorities.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous but not essential.
