Job summary

Red Acorn Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Supervisor in Retford to lead a workshop team and ensure high-quality turnaround of work within time and budget constraints. The role involves coordinating labour, liaising with suppliers and customers, and spotting efficiency improvements.

You will have strong mechanical experience and be comfortable with process equipment knowledge, ideally in hygienic processing environments.

Workshop Supervisor

Salary to £40k

Based Retford

A Workshop Supervisor is required with experience gained within a mechanical service / repair environment.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the workshop team and operations, ensuring effective labour resource allocation to successfully achieve high quality turnaround of work with budget and time constraints. Liaising with suppliers and customers, you will build strong relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also look for areas to improve efficiencies whilst also developing effective administration systems.

Candidates will have experience gained as a Supervisor / Team Leader within a similar Workshop environment. You will have strong mechanical experience, ideally with good technical knowledge of process equipment / process components and preferably within hygienic processing industries
