Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Supervisor (Assembly) in Bristol. You will oversee the manufacturing and assembly of bespoke machinery and lead day-to-day workshop operations, with opportunities to travel internationally to installations and services.

The role supports progression into managerial positions and includes training and a company-backed pension. The salary band is £40,000–£50,000 with flexible hours (core 6am–6pm) and a fully funded security clearance pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Supervisor or similar from a Mechanical Assembly background.
• Manufacturing and assembly of bespoke machinery.
• Willingness to travel globally to support installations and services.

Are you a Workshop Supervisor or similar from a Mechanical Assembly background looking for a varied role within a rapidly growing business, offering clear paths to managerial roles and specialist international training on services and installations?

Founded over 30 years ago, this growing business specialises in electrical and mechanical machinery. Aiming to be a one stop for all, they design, manufacture, install and service all machinery, with clear ambitions to grow over the next 12 months, they have recently acquired a brand new, state-of-the-art workshop.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of a range of specialist bespoke machinery. There will be opportunities to travel to sites across the globe to support with installations and services of the machinery.
