What does the role of Workshop Supervisor involve?

• Accounting for and managing Technicians' time when working on jobs.
• Ensuring Job Card write-up compliance with OEM Warranty Procedures.
• Managing and improving workshop productivity and efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the appropriately skilled technicians.
• Identifying Technician training needs.

What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Supervisor?

• Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry.
• An excellent understanding of systems and processes in this environment.
• A strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Confidence in dealing with people at all levels and the ability to build immediate rapport.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to negotiate and influence situations effectively.
• Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time.
