About the Role:

Paxton Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-established company based inInverness, seeking aWorkshop & Stores Technicianto join their team. This is acustomer-facingrole focused on managing stock, organising the warehouse, and ensuring equipment is properly stored and distributed. The ideal candidate will have experience inwarehousing, stock control, or a motor parts environment, with strong organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and distribute equipment, tools, and parts efficiently.
• Maintain accurate stock records and manage inventory levels.
• Handle customer and supplier enquiries, providing excellent service.
• Organise and maintain a clean and safe warehouse/workshop environment.
• Process incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring correct documentation.
• Assist with basic equipment checks before distribution.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely supply of equipment.
• Ensure compliance withhealth, safety, and company procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in astores, warehouse, logistics, or motor parts environment.
• Strongcustomer serviceand communication skills.
• Ability to use stock management systems and maintain accurate records.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
• Full UK driving license (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
