Workshop Supervisor – Heavy Plant

A leading major dealership specialising in Heavy Plant is looking for a Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of workshop activities and guide the careers of the workshop team, whilst working with some of the most advanced machinery in the industry.

Role: Workshop Supervisor

Area: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £50,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organise workshop activities, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and in line with processes
• Manage the Workshop team daily, identify training gaps, and implement performance management
• Mentor apprentices through hands-on guidance
• Review and improve processes and working practices regularly
• Maintain high standards of Health and Safety at all times

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a time-served engineer with a formal apprenticeship in Construction Plant or similar
• Experience in Construction, Heavy Plant, Agriculture, Commercial Vehicles, or related industries
• Strong people management skills
• Excellent technical understanding of machinery
• High organisational skills
