Job summary

Active Staff is representing an industry-leading company and seeks a Workshop Repair Technician to maintain plant equipment, perform repairs, servicing and refurbishment, and ensure assets stay in pristine condition. The role involves hands-on work on plant machinery and inspecting returned equipment to identify faults.

Working hours are Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm, with onsite parking and clear progression opportunities after probation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and hands-on experience required
• Willingness to get stuck in and work hands-on
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Positive, proactive approach to tasks
• Previous mechanics experience is desirable
• Experience working on plant equipment or vehicles is a plus

Responsibilities

• Working on Plant equipment and repairing with light mechanical work
• Body alterations and repairs to plant equipment
• Inspecting returned equipment to identify damage, wear or faults
• Spot welding
• Carrying out repairs, servicing, refurbishment and general maintenance
• Working to daily schedules and prioritising repairs to meet customer deadlines

Job description

I am pleased to be representing an industry leading company who are on the lookout for a Workshop Repair Technician In this position your role will be to maintain Plant equipment ensuring equipment is in pristine condition. This would be a great opportunity for anyone with plant experience or previous mechanics experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 17:00pm

Role of Workshop Repair Technician

• Working on Plant equipment and repairing with light mechanical work
