Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd in Droitwich Spa is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee production operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule. You will coordinate workloads, manage project schedules, liaise with supply chains and oversee stores to ensure parts and materials are available.

The ideal candidate will supervise production teams, manage builds from start to finish, and maintain high standards of health and safety and quality control while developing team

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising production or workshop teams.
• Strong experience managing projects and production schedules.
• Confident managing people and allocating workloads.
• Experience working with supply chains, stores and stock control.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
• Organised, proactive and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate production/workshop teams
• Oversee product builds from start to finish
• Allocate work and manage workloads to meet project deadlines
• Liaise with supply chains and suppliers to ensure materials are available
• Manage stores and stock levels
• Ensure projects remain on schedule
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control
• Monitor production progress and identify potential issues
• Support and develop team members
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery
