Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a Workshop Plant Fitter in Sittingbourne to service, maintain and repair plant machinery in a busy workshop. The role offers a base salary up to £42,000, with unlimited overtime, private medical and life assurance plus training.

You'll join a forward‑thinking team with clear progression, ongoing manufacturer training, and a supportive environment in Sittingbourne. A full UK driving licence is required and NVQ/City & Guilds beneficial.

Qualifications

• Backgrounds considered: Plant, Forklift, Powered Access, Crane, Agriculture or HGV
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
• Relevant engineering qualification is preferred but not desired (NVQ/City & Guilds beneficial)
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers and more.
• Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team
