Job summary

Platinum-Recruitment in Horsham is seeking an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter to maintain and service a range of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers and more.

You can earn from £35,000 with unlimited overtime paid at time and a half and an OTE of £60,000–£70,000, plus a strong bonus scheme and income protection. This role offers real progression in a growing business with a well-equipped workshop.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Backgrounds considered: Plant, Forklift, Powered Access, Crane, Agriculture or HGV.
• Engineering qualification is preferred but not required (NVQ/City & Guilds beneficial).
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers and more.
• Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards.
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team.
