Job Title: Workshop Plant Engineer

Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance on construction equipment
• Diagnosing faults quickly and effectively to minimize downtime
• Providing solutions and support to the hire desk as needed
• Performing repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

The role involves working with a large fleet of modern construction machinery, including tools, powered access, and plant hire equipment. Training on products and equipment is available, along with opportunities for career development.

This position is reactive, supporting the company's daily service, maintenance, and repair needs for equipment such as excavators, dump trucks, diggers, dozers (up to 13 tonnes), telehandlers, generators, rollers, pumps, breakers, and more.

Ideal candidates will have experience as an Engineer, Mechanic, Workshop Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician. Trainee engineers with relevant experience in PAT testing, electric/diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics may also be considered.
