Job description

Plant Maintenance Engineer (H/F)

Carbon60 is proud to partner with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit a Plant Maintenance Engineer within the Maintenance & Facilities department. Lufthansa Technik is a global leader in maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This is a permanent position, available due to company growth and expansion. The primary responsibility is to ensure the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities, maintaining operational efficiency and safety.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair all equipment and facilities to standard, identifying faults in detail.
  • Perform daily checks on machines and equipment, including statutory checks, within your skills and approvals.
  • Work shifts and provide out-of-hours support as needed.
  • Identify required spares proactively.
  • Ensure all duties comply with safety, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
  • Understand responsibilities outlined in the company's environmental procedures.
Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience in a similar plant maintenance role.
  • Mechanical and electrical background.
  • Experience working at heights.
  • Knowledge of PVC pipework.
  • Good understanding of pumps and motors.
  • Preferred knowledge of gas ovens, chiller units, and rectifiers.
  • Preferred understanding of air handling units and air conditioning systems.
