Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Workshop Operative to keep the depot efficient and ready for customers. You will prepare equipment, clean and store items, and help with loading/unloading as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training and adherence to PPE and COSHH guidelines, with opportunities for development and a competitive benefits package including holiday allowance and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness required to undertake daily tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete duties on time.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing equipment.

• Occasionally delivering and collecting from customer sites.

In the role of Workshop Operative you'll play an key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Depot. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your Duties Will Include

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
• Checking and storing off-hired equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
• Liaising with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job
• Building Orders For Customers Within Agreed Deadlines
• Required from time to time to make deliveries and collections from Customer Sites
• Use of depot Telehandler
