Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Workshop Operative in Wigan to ensure equipment is cleaned and prepared for hire. You will help keep the depot running smoothly and support customers with loading and unloading when required.

Joining a market-leading UK provider, you’ll work in a team environment with training opportunities and a focus on health and safety, including PPE guidelines and COSHH awareness.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team and to complete duties on time.
• Good level of customer service.
• Willing to undertake training and development.
• Commitment to health and safety – PPE knowledge advantageous.
• B3 Forklift Licence is required.

Responsabilités

• Clean and prepare equipment for hire.
• Check and store off-hired equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas.
• Liaise with customers on loading/unloading jobs.
• Build orders for customers within agreed deadlines.
• Occasionally make deliveries/collections from customer sites.
• Use of depot Telehandler.

Role

In the role of Workshop Operative you'll play an key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Depot. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include

• + Cleaning and preparing equipment
• + Checking and storing off-hired equipment
• + Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
• + Liaising with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job
• + Building Orders For Customers Within Agreed Deadlines
• + Required from time to one to make deliveries and collections from Customer Sites
• + Use of depot Telehandler
