Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Newport is seeking a Workshop Operative to support logistics, transport, customer service and engineering teams. The role involves deliveries, collections, load/unload tasks, and stock control, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

As a candidate you should have a driving licence, IT skills for platform use, and strong communication. There is emphasis on adaptability, learning, and potential forklift training. The position runs Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00, 40 hours per week.

Workshop Operative - Newport - Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00 - 40 hours per week

Working in all areas of the depot, the role of a Workshop Operative is a busy supporting role, providing support to our logistics, transport, customer service and engineering teams. This can include deliveries and collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading as well as stock control.
