Our client, a market-leading commercial services company, is currently recruiting a Workshop Operative to join their workshop team. The Workshop Operative will be responsible diagnosing faults, refurbishing components and quality checking a range of commercial machines.

Key Responsibilities for the Gas Engineer

• Diagnosing faults with pipework, wiring looms, interfacing parts, motors, wiring cables and ensuring a manufacturer standard level of repair is adhered to.
• Refurbishing components such as water pumps, grinder assemblies and carrousel assemblies.
• Quality checking and adjusting components or assemblies against required specification.
• Carrying out a broad range of preventative maintenance tasks, refurbishing components, making sure all equipment is left in good working order.

Skills Required for the Gas Engineer

• Previous Workshop experience is desired.
• Strong communication skills.
