You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop and support the delivery of large-scale campaigns across festivals, live events, retail environments and pop-up activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage CNC workflow according to production priorities.
- Coordinate project-specific materials with the Production Manager.
- Monitor fabrication hours and productivity against budgets.
- Maintain workshop organisation, housekeeping and Health & Safety standards.
- Ensure machinery, tools and equipment are used and maintained safely.
- Support occasional installations and de-rigs.
- Lead, support and develop a team of fabricators.
- Plan workshop activity across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Review designs and recommend effective construction methods.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance throughout each build.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
- Work with project teams to ensure drawings, materials and resources are available.

The Person
- Three to five years' experience in workshop management, fabrication, set building, exhibitions, events or technical production.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials and construction methods.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team.
- Experience operating workshop machinery safely.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- A practical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Experience within experiential marketing, festivals, exhibitions or retail activations would be beneficial.
- Flexibility is required, as occasional overtime, weekend work and on-site support may be needed during busy periods.
