Job summary

Magic Number in Bristol is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the fabrication team at The Hub, our 32,000 sq ft production facility. You will oversee day-to-day workshop operations, support large-scale campaigns across festivals, live events, retail environments and pop-up activations.

You will provide hands-on technical guidance, maintain high standards of workmanship and safety, and coordinate materials with the Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in workshop management, fabrication, set building, exhibitions, events or technical production.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials and construction methods.
• Proven experience leading and developing a team.
• Experience operating workshop machinery safely.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• A practical approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

The role
