Job summary

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a workshop environment with machine shop processes.
  • Experience with preventative and planned maintenance on workshop equipment.
  • Experience with listed plant equipment and production line components.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain plant services in safe condition (compressors, boilers, water towers).
  • Refurbish and repair plant spares and equipment (rollers, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors).
  • Assist with plant breakdowns and line conversions.
  • Support engineering projects and maintain EMS/regulatory records.
  • Be available for maintenance days, shutdowns and flexible scheduling.
  • Work across workshop and shop floor to support new production lines.
