Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd are seeking a Workshop Forklift Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and lifting equipment in and around Bury St Edmunds. You will perform routine maintenance, fault finding and basic electrical checks, ensuring high standards of quality and customer service.

Experience with forklift trucks or similar plant equipment is desirable; a Full UK driving licence is essential. The role offers a competitive salary with overtime.

• Good mechanical engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repair of forklift trucks and other lifting equipment.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and checks on oils, fuels, hoses and connections.
• Liaising with customers to understand their requirements.
• Submit accurate parts requisition information to Head Office.
• Acting as a face of the company and brand ambassador.
