GAP Group is seeking a Workshop Foreman to lead our depot workshop, ensuring a fleet of diggers, dumpers and power tools is maintained and hire-ready. You will manage Fitters, allocate workloads, and drive performance, always prioritising safety, efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant qualification or time-served background.
• Solid knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Strong leadership in a fast-paced workshop.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the depot workshop and keep plant equipment hire-ready.
• Allocate and monitor workloads to maximise productivity and meet targets.
• Lead by example to maintain safety, service, and equipment care.
