Steel Fabrication Supervisor (workshop)

Our client is looking for a hands-on Steel Fabrication Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are specialists in their field - submersible and centrifugal pump repairs with hydro test bay facility, gearbox repairs, valve refurbishments, and precision and reverse engineering.

Must have knowledge in all aspects of Steel Fabrication & welding

Rate of Pay (Dependent on experience)

All Candidates Must

• Manage, motivate, and monitor the performance of all workshop staff, supporting their daily tasks and development.
• Ensure availability of all materials required to meet production targets through forward planning and ordering.
• Meet production targets and deadlines by maximizing available resources and scheduling work hours accordingly.
• Some overtime may be required during periods of high production.
• Coordinate with TPM staff and Site Supervisors, maintaining excellent working relationships. Teamwork is essential.
• Ensure adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations.
• Book and arrange dispatch of products to customer sites as required.
• Attend meetings with senior management as needed.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workplace.
• Complete all associated paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
