Job summary

Red Rooster Lifting in West Bromwich is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our workshop team. You will assemble, test and repair air hoists and other lifting equipment, contributing to safe and reliable equipment for our customers.

Experience with pneumatics or hydraulics is advantageous, and prior hoist repair or strong mechanical knowledge will help you succeed in a hands-on role within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembling, testing and repairing air hoists.
• Knowledge of pneumatics or hydraulics is advantageous.
• Previous hoist repair experience or strong mechanical knowledge.
• Be self-motivated, work well as part of a team and work on your own initiative.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
