Job summary

KandD Recruitment is partnering with a growing tool hire business across London and the Home Counties to recruit an experienced fitter for a permanent workshop role.

You will fault-find, repair and maintain 110V and cordless power tools, site equipment, petrol and diesel plant, hydraulics and mechanical equipment, working Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. This is a stable, supportive environment with a monthly bonus and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical discipline considered.

Responsibilities

• Fault-find, repair and maintain a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Work includes 110V and cordless power tools, site equipment, petrol/diesel plant, air tools, hydraulics and other mechanical gear.

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP45000 per annum

The Role

As part of the workshop team, you will be responsible for fault-finding, repairs and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including:

• 110V and cordless power tools
• Site equipment
• Petrol and 2-stroke equipment
• Diesel plant
• Air tools
• Hydraulic equipment
• Mechanical equipment

About You

You will have previous experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment, including diesel, petrol, hydraulics, pneumatics or electrics,or have recently completed a relevant apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline.

Experience may also include plant, power tools, powered access, generators, pumps, lifting equipment, or similar mechanical environments.

Hours

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm
