Job summary

AES in Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our production team on bespoke engineering projects. You will assemble and commission mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems from engineering drawings, at both in-house facilities and customer sites.

The ideal candidate has fitting, assembly or machine build experience, can read drawings, and works with pipework, pressure testing and general workshop tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitting, assembly or machine build experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Experience with pipework, pressure testing, mechanical installation and general workshop tools.
• Flexible approach and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and commission specialist mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems from engineering drawings.
• Work on projects both in-house and at customer sites.
• Support installation and test activities and ensure quality handover.

The Company

Our client designs and builds bespoke engine and component test equipment for leading manufacturers. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their production team, assembling and commissioning specialist mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems from engineering drawings, both in-house and at customer sites.

The Person

• Mechanical Fitting, Assembly or Machine Build experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid systems.
• The ability to read engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Experience with pipework, pressure testing, mechanical installation and general workshop tools.
• A flexible approach and a full UK driving licence.
