Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Workshop Fitter for a nationwide service provider. The role, based near Birmingham, offers full training and development, with salary £28,080–£29,120 plus holiday, pension and workwear. You will learn to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with 1 hour lunch. The successful candidate will use hand tools and gain industry certification through on‑the‑job training, supported

• Experience with mechanical fitting or assembling mechanical equipment.
• Strong practical problem-solving ability and hands-on approach.
• Willingness to learn and gain industry certification.

Joining their depot based in Oldbury which is their centre of excellence for moving decks you will be trained on how to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles which will include changing ropes, pulleys, hydraulic rams as well as running trunking and wiring.
