Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Workshop Fitter for a Birmingham-based depot. You will inspect, repair and service moving decks on HGV vehicles, using hand tools and applying mechanical and electrical engineering skills.

The role offers full training, ongoing development, and a clear path to progression, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and a competitive salary of £28,080 to £29,120 plus holiday, pension and workwear.

Joining their depot based in Oldbury which is their centre of excellence for moving decks you will be trained on how to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles which will include changing ropes, pulleys, hydraulic rams as well as running trunking and wiring.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch.
