Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Workshop Engineer (Plant) in Walsall. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy plant equipment, including LOLER inspections and PAT testing. You will gain NVQ Level 3, CSCS card, and specialist LOLER training with strong progression potential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Engineer from a plant background.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification and CSCS card required.
• Specialist LOLER training or certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Line boring and fault finding on site.
• National patch work; travelling as required.

Walsall

Are you a Workshop Engineer from a plant or similar background, looking to join a thriving company who will value your career, allowing you to gain your NVQ Level 3, CSCS card and specialist training on LOLERS?

In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, repairing and fault finding of Heavy plant equipment. You will be conducting LOLER inspections, line boring and PAT testing.

Established in 2017, this company have risen to the top of their industry by growing their engineering team to over 40 employees. They are looking to bring in a Workshop Engineer to support their high-quality work and continue their growth.

This role would suit a Workshop Engineer from a plant background, looking for specialist training, external funded courses and progression opportunities to upskill your career.

The Role:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment


• PAT testing, line boring and LOLER inspections


• National patch


• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm


• Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
