Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Workshop Engineer for our client in Leicester. The role is Monday – Friday days, based on site at a modern depot, with full training and clear progression path.

You’ll work on forklift and material-handling equipment, gaining cross-disciplinary electrical, mechanical and hydraulic skills. You’ll need a hands-on engineering background (plant, forklift, REME, or similar) and be commutable to Leicester.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, forklift or material handling environments is essential.
• Ability to work with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems is desirable.
• Commutable to Leicester and able to work Monday–Friday days.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, inspection and testing on forklift/machinery.
• Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Ensure safe operation and reliability of equipment on-site.

Leicester (Commutable from: Loughborough, Nuneaton, Corby, Midlands, Coalville, Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Hinckley, Rugby)

• £35,000 + (£45,000 OTE) + Monday - Friday days + Training + Progression + Overtime + Benefits

Do you have Engineering qualifications and/or experience looking to join a National leader in the industry in a workshop position coupled with full Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic training?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable permanent role. You will be required to work on modern equipment, maintain a good work life balance and have clear progression within their business.

The company are a multi-million manufacturer of specialist Plant and Material Handling equipment supplying to leading facilities. This role is available due to internal growth plans.

This is a highly varied Monday - Friday days based role out of their modern, fully equipped and local depot. You will be based on site providing Service, Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on a range of Forklift machinery.

This role would suit a Plant, Mechanical or similar Engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi-skilled training and job a secure business.

The role.

• Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on Access, Material Handling, Forklift equipment.
• Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics involved.
• Monday - Friday (flexible hours).

The person.
