Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is advertising a Workshop Engineer (Plant) role in Walsall. The package includes £42,000–£47,000 plus overtime (OTE £60k), training, external courses, progression opportunities, and door-to-door benefits. Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Engineer from a plant or similar background.
• NVQ Level 3 and CSCS card are desirable.
• Willingness to undertake specialist LOLER training.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment.
• PAT testing, line boring and LOLER inspections.
• National patch duties and site coverage as required.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm; optional overtime (1.5x).

Are you a Workshop Engineer from a plant or similar background, looking to join a thriving company who will value your career, allowing you to gain your NVQ Level 3, CSCS card and specialist training on LOLERS?

In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, repairing and fault finding of Heavy plant equipment. You will be conducting LOLER inspections, line boring and PAT testing.

This role would suit a Workshop Engineer from a plant background, looking for specialist training, external funded courses and progression opportunities to upskill your career.

The Role:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment
• PAT testing, line boring and LOLER inspections
• National patch
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
