Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is advertising a Workshop Engineer (Plant) role in Walsall. The package includes £42,000–£47,000 plus overtime (OTE £60k), training, external courses, progression opportunities, and door-to-door benefits. Take on maintenance and fault-finding of heavy plant equipment with LOER inspections and related duties.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with optional overtime at 1.5x. The company values career progression and specialist training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Engineer from a plant or similar background.
• NVQ Level 3 and CSCS card are desirable.
• Willingness to undertake specialist LOLER training.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment.
• PAT testing, line boring and LOLER inspections.
• National patch duties and site coverage as required.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm; optional overtime (1.5x).
