Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Basingstoke is seeking a Workshop Engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of material handling equipment, including forklifts. You will conduct routine maintenance checks and diagnoses to ensure safety and reliability.

The role offers a 40- or 45-hour week, shift premium, 25 days annual leave plus holidays, a company pension, training and development, and access to specialist tooling and PPE. A full UK driving licence and IT literacy are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Comfortable using IT systems and record-keeping.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and diagnose faults.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and service tasks.
• Work from depots and maintain customer service standards.
