Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Bolton is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our depot team. You will diagnose, repair and prevent faults on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment, from pallet trucks to IC and automated systems.

You should have experience in mechanical or electrical engineering or hydraulics, a UK driving licence, and IT literacy to keep records and place orders. NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical engineering or hydraulics.
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IT literate with ability to use latest technology to keep records and place orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, locate and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Undertake preventative maintenance on a range of equipment.
• Assist with both independent and team-based repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate service records and order parts as needed.
