Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Basingstoke is seeking a Workshop Engineer to maintain and repair forklifts and related equipment. The role involves routine maintenance checks, diagnosing faults, and performing preventative tasks to keep machines operating safely and efficiently.

You will work at a depot location, collaborating with colleagues while delivering high-quality service and support. A full UK driving licence and IT literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with forklifts or plant equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Comfort with IT record keeping and tools.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair forklifts and heavy machinery.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks for reliability and safety.
• Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections and service customers.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team at the depot.
