Job description

Join to apply for the Workshop Engineer role at Linde Material Handling.

We are currently seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our team at the Wellingborough Depot. The ideal candidate will have some basic experience as a vehicle technician, plant fitter, or similar role, with experience in plant equipment, powered access, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners. Training will be provided.

You will work with a range of equipment from small pallet trucks to automated trucks, diagnosing, rectifying faults, and performing preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts.

Who are we looking for?

Applicants should have experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Mechanical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Hydraulics

An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential. You must be IT literate, hold a full UK driving licence, and possess personal attributes such as good communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, attention to detail, positive attitude, flexibility, and a desire to be a Linde brand ambassador.
