We are currently seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our team at the Wellingborough Depot. We welcome vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with basic experience in roles such as technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or similar. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is advantageous, but training will be provided.
You will work with equipment ranging from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks. Your responsibilities include diagnosing, fault finding, rectifying faults, and undertaking preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts.
Who are we looking for?
To be considered, you should have experience in at least one of the following areas:
An NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. You should be IT literate, capable of using modern technology for record-keeping and ordering. A full UK driving license is required.
Salary commensurate with experience.
