Job summary

Jungheinrich in Warrington is seeking a Workshop Engineer to maintain and repair Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment at our national workshop in Warrington. You will perform service and LOLER inspections and prepare equipment for demonstrations or hires, ensuring safety and reliability.

We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from maintenance backgrounds, including automotive techs, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex-forces engineers.

Qualifications

• We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex forces military vehicle engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
• Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
• Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
• Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
• Carrying out repair assessments.

The Role

• Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK, working at our national workshop in Warrington.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
• Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
• Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
• Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
• Carrying out repair assessments.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

Person Requirements

• We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex forces military vehicle engineers.
