Job summary

Jungheinrich UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our customer service engineering team in the Derby area. You will visit client sites to service, repair and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of Jungheinrich material handling equipment and forklift trucks.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical background, a full driving licence, and prior customer-facing experience. You will work with an extensive toolkit and receive industry leading training.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical background such as automotive technician, HGV, mobile plant, forklift or ex‑forces experience.
• Full driving licence and prior customer-facing experience required.
• Experience working unsupervised is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites in the Derby area to conduct servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on Jungheinrich material handling equipment and forklift trucks.
• Manage parts stock and complete service reports and timesheets.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will visit client sites in the area to conduct servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of Jungheinrich material handling equipment and forklift trucks. The role also involves managing parts stock and completing service reports and timesheets.

Person Specification

Suitable candidates will have a mechanical or electrical background, such as general automotive technician, HGV, mobile plant, forklift or ex‑forces military vehicle engineering experience. A full driving licence and prior customer‑facing experience are required. Experience working unsupervised is an advantage.
