Are you a skilled Workshop Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading engineering solutions provider? My client is a trusted name in the repair and maintenance of rotating equipment, and is looking for a dedicated Workshop Engineer to join their team in Exeter.

The Role: Workshop Engineer

1. Repair and refurbish electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
2. Carry out fault diagnosis, testing, and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.
3. Strip down and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Work to high safety and quality standards, maintaining accurate records.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

1. Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably within a workshop environment.
2. Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, or gearboxes is highly desirable.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. A team player with a proactive approach to work.

The Package: Workshop Engineer

1. Base Salary £13.50-£17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
2. Day shifts 8am-5pm Mon-Fri 40 hour week
3. Overtime with additional on-call work opportunities
4. 28 days holiday
5. Pension scheme
