Diesel Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and fitting on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Responsibilities

1. Split working between the company workshop and customer sites.
2. Dismantle, diagnose, and fit on a range of Diesel Pumps and Engines.
3. Undertake repair work in the company workshop on Pumps and Engines.
4. Visit customer sites across Exeter as required.
5. Attend callouts for breakdowns as per the company rota.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Diesel Fitting, ideally on Pumps or Engines.
• Confident in stripping, repairing, and fitting mechanical components.
• Previous experience as a diesel fitter.
• Based within a commutable distance of Exeter.
• Full driving license (non-negotiable).

Details

• Salary: £15.75 per hour
• Full-time, 39 hours/week
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30
• Overtime available
• 33 days holiday including public holidays
• Pension scheme
