Job summary

Air IT invites applications for a Workshop Coordinator in Milton Keynes. You will be highly organised, customer-focused and able to juggle multiple priorities to keep workshop operations running smoothly and to ensure equipment, stock and requests are delivered on time.

You’ll manage the ticket queue, act as the main contact for customers, coordinate stock arrivals with Procurement, arrange couriers and support process improvements to enhance the overall service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workshop ticket queue, ensuring requests are reviewed, prioritised and assigned effectively.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates and maintaining communication throughout the lifecycle of requests.
• Monitor ticket workflows and due dates to ensure work is completed within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate the booking and arrival of new stock, equipment and hardware with our Procurement team.
• Arrange courier collections and deliveries, ensuring equipment is tracked and delivered to the correct destination.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of workshop processes, procedures and documentation.
• Assist with the resolution of customer issues and escalation of concerns where appropriate.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Workshop Manager.
• Coordinate workshop onboarding activities to ensure equipment preparation, scheduling and delivery requirements are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Service Delivery, Procurement, Projects and Technical Services for a seamless customer experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating people, processes and logistics while ensuring customers receive an exceptional service. You'll act as a key link between customers, internal teams and the workshop, helping to keep operations running efficiently and ensuring equipment, stock and customer requests are delivered accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Workshop Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the workshop by:
