Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Chesterfield is seeking a Workshop Controller to oversee busy dealership operations. You will plan and allocate technician work, mentor staff, and ensure timely delivery while upholding quality and customer satisfaction.

The role is based in Chesterfield with a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. A £40,000 basic salary with OTE up to £45,000 and a strong benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years as a Workshop Controller in a main dealer environment.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate jobs to technicians to optimise time and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and support the team to maintain high standards of work.
• Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Coordinate priorities and workflow with the service team.
