Job summary

Donnelly Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Jaguar Land Rover team at 59 Moy Road, Dungannon. You will lead the workshop, allocate work to Technicians, support Service Advisors, and ensure high standards of quality and customer service.

Ideal candidates have Master Technician status with supervisory or management experience and at least 3–4 years in a franchised workshop, plus a full UK driving licence.

• 3–4 years experience, ideally within a franchised workshop.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and support Service Advisors with additional work requirements, costs and timings.
• Monitor repairs to ensure all work is completed correctly and Right First Time.
• Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorisation where required.
• Lead Technicians with complex issues and escalate as needed.
• Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and additional work identified.
• Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.
• Carry out quality checks, including road tests where required.

Working within a busy and successful dealership, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role, supporting our workshop team and helping to deliver high standards of performance, quality and customer service.

• Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.

• Support Technicians with complex technical issues, escalating where necessary.
• Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and any additional work identified.
• Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate, complete and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.
• Carry out quality control checks, including road tests where required.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensure completed vehicles are prepared and ready for customer collection.

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
