Job summary

Vertu BYD Worcester is looking for a Workshop Controller to join our busy service department. You will allocate work to Vehicle Technicians, plan incoming jobs and manage the team to maximise productivity and ensure deadlines are met.

The role offers a £33,000 basic salary with an OTE of £36,000 and access to ongoing training opportunities that support your career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the motor trade, specifically in workshop environments or as a senior technician.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

At our Vertu BYD Worcester dealership we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join our outstanding team!

We are offering £33,000Basic Salary with an OTE of £36,000!

The Workshop Controller role is one of the busiest and most important roles within the dealership, and consists of assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop. The role will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team. You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times.

It is essential that you have previous experience of working within the Motor Trade, in the Workshop or Senior Technician background.

This is an excellent opportunity to show us that you have an enviable and proven track record or performance. You will have exceptional communication skills and have a full, valid UK driving licence.
