Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Kidderminster seeks an experienced Workshop Controller to lead a fast-paced workshop, coordinating technicians and priorities to deliver vehicles to the highest technical and quality standards.

You will drive productivity, efficiency and profitability, while making warranty decisions and supporting the team to ensure customers are back on the road quickly and safely.

• A qualified technician background with strong workshop experience and excellent technical knowledge, from routine servicing and maintenance through to advanced diagnostics.

We're looking for an experienced and qualified Workshop Controller to play a pivotal role at our Kidderminster site. This is more than just managing workflow, it's about keeping businesses moving, customers satisfied, and vehicles safely back on the road as quickly as possible.

Working in a modern workshop equipped with the latest technology and manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools, you'll be at the heart of a dynamic operation where no two days are the same. You'll lead from the front, coordinating technicians, managing priorities, and ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop to the highest technical and quality standards.

As Workshop Controller, you'll have a direct influence on workshop performance, maximising productivity, efficiency, and profitability while supporting your team to deliver exceptional results. You'll also be the key decision-maker on warranty and recharge opportunities, using your technical expertise and commercial awareness to drive success.
