Position: Semi-Productive Workshop Controller

Location: Multi-Franchise site in King’s Lynn

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Main Dealer experience (Desirable but not essential)
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads
• Positive attitude and leadership by example

Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be expected to:

• Maximize workshop efficiency using resources and personnel effectively to ensure high productivity
• Work with the brands to ensure industry-leading customer care and satisfaction, building customer retention
• Determine daily workshop availability and liaise with Service Reception regarding capacity
• Maintain progress information for each job and keep the Service Reception team informed
• Handle customer complaints efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with the Aftersales Manager for smooth dealership operations
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative and operational data, complying with standards and reporting policies
• Adhere to employment, FCA, environmental, Health and Safety, GDPR, Trading Standards policies, and statutory legislation
• MOT tester certification is a distinct advantage
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (hour lunch), and alternate Saturdays, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.

• Basic salary of £35,000 (OTE £40,000)
