Are you passionate about maintaining outdoor spaces and ensuring community facilities are safe and well cared for? We are looking for a dedicated Workshop and Play Inspector to join our Grounds Services team, helping to inspect, maintain and improve play areas and environmental assets across the Council's estate.
In this varied and hands-on role, you will undertake inspections and maintenance of play park equipment and other mechanical assets, support the collection and management of service information, and carry out a range of practical grounds maintenance duties. Working as part of a committed team, you will play a key role in providing safe, clean and enjoyable outdoor spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.
You will help ensure that the Council's parks, open spaces and play areas are safe, clean and well-maintained for residents and visitors. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines inspections, maintenance, repairs and operational support, helping to keep our outdoor spaces operating to the highest standards throughout the year.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 till 15:30 and Friday 07:30 till 15:00
Capacity to undertake physical aspects of the role including manual handling, walking long distances, using pedestrian equipment and working in all weather conditions.
