Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Works Manager to lead on-site delivery of the Pontoon Dock Scheme for a major TfL DLR project in East London. You will manage construction activities on site, ensuring safe delivery to programme and budget, while upholding quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Works Manager or similar site leadership role.
• Experience delivering complex civil engineering and/or MEP projects within a rail environment.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, project controls, and operational management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within major infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing project programmes, resources, and budgets.
• Knowledge of company management systems, procedures, and construction delivery processes.
• Ability to identify and manage project risks while maintaining delivery objectives.
• Experience working on Transport for London projects.
• Experience within the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) network.
• Experience delivering station, rail, or transport infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with relevant rail industry standards and working practices.
• Relevant vocational, construction management or engineering qualifications.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly secured rail infrastructure project and play a pivotal role in its successful delivery.
